The broader market tracked declines across Asian peers, following US stock futures lower after President Donald Trump threatened to impose new tariffs on European countries. All sectors traded in the red, led by technology stocks, which fell 1.3%. Wipro slid 1.2%, extending Monday’s plunge after issuing a weaker-than-expected outlook for the fourth quarter. The Nifty 50 also dropped 0.3% to below 25,500, while small-cap and mid-cap indices each fell 1.2%. Among the biggest laggards were IndusInd Bank (-2.9%), Bajaj Finance (-2.7%), Bajaj Finserv (-2.0%), Tech Mahindra (-1.6%), and Asian Paints (-1.4%).
