DAX Hovers Around Record Highs

The DAX 40 was little changed around 26,440 on Monday, holding close to record highs, led by gains in tech stocks, while attention remained on geopolitical developments. Meanwhile, investors continued to adjust their expectations for US interest rates following a series of weaker-than-expected economic data. Infineon Technologies was the standout performer, rising 2.1%, with AI-related companies Siemens Energy and Hochtief advancing 1.8% and 1.1%, respectively. Rheinmetall (1.3%) and RWE (0.9%) also rose firmly. On the downside, Scout24 (-2%), Zalando (-1.6%) and Beiersdorf (-1.2%) posted the biggest declines.
