US President Donald Trump seriously weighs resuming combat operations after weeks of restraint — CNN

US President Donald Trump has grown increasingly frustrated with how the Iranians are handling talks to end the conflict, and some Trump aides say that he is now more seriously considering a resumption of major combat operations than he has in recent weeks, CNN reported on Monday.
Trump has grown impatient with the continued closure of the Strait of Hormuz, as well as what he perceives as division in Iranian leadership that is preventing them from making substantial concessions on nuclear negotiations, sources familiar with the discussions said.
On Monday, Trump had another meeting at the White House with his national security staff to discuss options moving forward. A significant decision is unlikely to be made before Trump leaves for China on Tuesday afternoon, according to those familiar with the negotiations.
